The Hebrew Christian Witness (HCW), Inc. was founded in 1955 in San Bernardino, California by Mike and Ruth Perl. The purpose of this ministry is to be an evangelistic outreach to the Jew first (Romans 1:16) throughout the Inland Empire and it's surrounding areas, as well as anywhere our Lord Messiah directs.

Our insignia indicates the blend of our Jewish and Christian beliefs, brought together in the heart of God. The upper triangle of the star speaks of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, the Triune God (three in one). The downward triangle speaks of man: body, soul and spirit going downward, yet lifted up by God's love (the heart) through the shed blood of Messiah Y'shua, Jesus, on the cross in man's stead.

The colors are significant, also. The background of white denotes the Holiness of God and the purity which we can attain through believing in the shed blood of the sinless Messiah. This brings us to the red heart, denoting His great love exemplified through His shed blood. The Star of Jacob ( Numbers 24:17: I see Him, but not now; I behold Him, but not near; A Star shall come out of Jacob…”) sometimes called the Star of David or Solomon's Seal is in blue to portray Heaven where the Triune God resides and where the redeemed will live. The cross is in gold, symbolic of Y'shua's (Jesus') Deity—fully God and fully man when He willingly gave up His life that we might live. The triangles are interwoven in fulfillment of Y'shua's (Jesus') words in Johanan (John) 17:21: “that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us…” . As our lives are interwoven in the Messiah through His shed blood we are lifted up, seen as pure, and invited to live in Heaven one day with God. We find our Jewishness enhanced by believing in the atoning work of our Messiah, the Son of God, and thus, speak of ourselves as completed Jews.

Rachél Perl,  raised in a Jewish-Christian home, accepted her Messiah as Savior at age 3 1/2. She was called to Jewish Missionary work at the age of nine. She also attended Biola and is involved in the ministry through teaching, speaking, counseling and computer/secretarial work.

At Hebrew Christian Witness, we believe that Y'shua, Jesus, is the only Savior and way to God. We believe that Y'shua, Jesus, is the fulfillment of the promised Messiah of the Old Testament Scriptures. He died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose again the third day and ascended to heaven forty days later, where He is now seated at the right hand of God the Father. Isa 53; I Corinthians 15:1-5; Revelation 3:21

• We believe in the Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, co-equal in all ways and revealed clearly in both the Old and New Testaments.
• We believe the whole Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God. It was written by holy men of God as the Holy Spirit moved upon them. II Peter 1: 20,21
• We believe a person is saved by grace, through faith (Ephesians 3:8-9) apart from works, and is kept by the Grace of God until the day of his salvation.
• We believe that today we are living in the Dispensation of Grace, not under The Law, and are a part of the Church, the body of Christ, made up of all born-again believers.
• We believe in the coming of Y'shua, Jesus, for the Church, the body of Christ, preceding the seven year Tribulation week of Daniel 9:24-27, culminating in the Battle of Armageddon.
• We believe in the Second Coming of Y'shua, Jesus, to establish His promised Kingdom to Israel, and will at that time and for 1,000 years be King over all the earth. Zechariah 14
